This is album 2 of 3 of music created for "Tension and Alloy", an exhibition of sculptures by Claire Tennant.
The sculptures are made from life casts of various practitioners of acts that push the boundaries of erotism through pleasure and pain.
The works on this album are made to accompany the artworks.
I don't see them as pieces of music, but objects of sound, or sculptures made from noise and rhythm, and while there are some melodic elements the idea was not to be too musical, but to construct pieces that felt like solid objects, of tension and synthetic flesh, to match the sculptures that depict folds, and wrinkles and ripples of skin, yet are solid and immovable, yet convey the sensuous details of bodies, and of the objects used in these practices.
